Valerie Lambert Hayes

Valerie Lambert Hayes, age 52, of Dalton, GA passed away Wednesday, September 25th, 2024.  She was born on October 22, 1971 in Bridgeport, Alabama to James and Donna Lambert and was the fifth of seven children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters-in-law, Jennifer Kirk Lambert, Rita Powell, and Cathy Strictland, daughter-in-law, Sabrina Moore Hayes, grandchildren, Hayden James Dillard and Edward Hayes, and niece, Betty Beja.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Patrick Raymond Hayes; three daughters, Brittany (Douglas) Dillard, Courtney (Jacque) Hayes, and Kristin Hayes; two sons, Patrick (Brandy) Hayes and Andrew Hayes.  She is also survived by her sisters, Vanessa (Garland) Tipton, Stephanie Lambert, and Erin Lambert and Shannon (Joe) Mullins. Brothers, Dennis Lambert and Steven Lambert. Sister-in-law Deanna (Mike) Womack.  Seven Grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Valerie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She enjoyed thrifting and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was an amazing person who would give someone in need the shirt off her back.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her funeral service will be Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at Love Funeral Home in Dalton, GA.  Valerie will be laid to rest after the service in West Hill Cemetery in Dalton.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. pm prior to the service.  Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Mr. Dennis Lambert, Mr. Steve Lambert, Mr. Matthew Lambert, Mr. Tyler Dillard, Mr. Bentley Hayes, and Mr. Justin Womack.  Gentlemen serving as honorary pallbearers are Mr. Joe Mullins, Mr. Garland Tipton, Mr. Brandon Womack, and Mr. Mike Rowe.
