Vernetta "Kate" Ruth Turner

Mrs. Vernetta “Kate” Ruth Turner, 68, of Rocky Face passed away Tuesday, April 23 , 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Mary Wilburn; husband, James Hodges; infant daughter; sister, Polly Huff; brother, Lowell Sherwood.

Kate was a loving wife. She loved all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

During her life she worked at Needle Craft, Ropers, and Brown Printing.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Turner of Rocky Face; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Judy Wilburn; sister-in-law, Joyce Sherwood; brother-in-law, Phillip Huff; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Kate will be held Saturday at 3:00 in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
