Victoria Feighery Gordon was born May 2, 1950, and passed away at Quinton Memorial Health and Rehabilitation on September 3, 2023. She is survived by her loving son, Michael, and his wife, Julia, along with their two beautiful daughters, Ella and Sayla.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, James and Helen Feighery, as well as her sisters, Mickey Norton and Monica Whaley.
Vickey was an artistic and creative person. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and loved unicorns and all things purple. She was a strong-willed and determined person. She worked tirelessly to earn her degree from Kennesaw State University. While there, she could regularly be found dressing up to show her school spirit and attending various campus activities. After graduation, she went on to work for the United Way. She was an advocate for the less advantaged and worked to find resources for the less fortunate.
Vickey was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years and served in many capacities there throughout her life. She could always be found wearing her St. Christopher medal.
After leaving the workforce, she continued her community service by volunteering at Hamilton Medical Center. Her most proud and loved role was that of Memaw to her granddaughters, Ella and Sayla. She enjoyed long conversations.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Gordon on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m.
