Virginia Satterfield Travillian

Virginia Satterfield Travillian, 91, of Dalton went to sleep on earth and woke up in Heaven on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Satterfield and was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her child, Claud J. Travillian, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, James W. Elsberry and sister, Eloise Greenway.

Mrs. Travillian is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Harry Neal; grandchildren, Jonathan Neal (Karen) and Zachary Neal (Katie); great-grandchildren, Robert, Jackson, Maddie, Andrew and Charlie; sisters, Marie Harrison Brinkley, Pauline Sims and Edith Stewart Herron; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Dalton with Dr. Jonathan Barlow and Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 3 in the Church Parlor. The family requests that anyone attending please wear a mask.
