Warren E. Deviney, Jr.

Warren E. Deviney, Jr., 77, of Cohutta passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020.

He was the son of the late Warren E. Deviney, Sr. and Carolyn Deviney.

He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a 1 ^st lieutenant and forward observer in Vietnam. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971 with a degree in Textile Engineering and worked at Tarkett for over 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Gayla Ross Deviney; daughters, Jessica Deviney McCutchen and Mallory Stanley Bailey (Matthew Corey Bailey); son, Cory Ross Stanley; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob, Bethany, Grace and Joy McCutchen and Sawyer and Sutton Bailey; great-grandchildren, Benjamin McCutchen and Nathaneal Wesson; sister, Melinda Jones; brother, Dr. David Deviney (Dottie).

A private graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
