William "Bill" Cavender

William “Bill” Jackson Cavender, 88, of Eton passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

He was the son of the late Oliver and Ester Cavender and was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha Fross.

Bill was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a Mason for 47 years. He was a dear and devoted husband.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eugenia Cavender; children, Laurin (Terri) Cavender and Chris Cavender; grandchildren, Kathie (Billy) Land, Beth (Matt) Miller, David (Erica) Cavender, Holly Craft and Amanda Pilon; great-grandchildren, Jason Cavender, Alyson Cagle, Charity Cagle, Cash Miller, Mikey Miller, Matt Miller Jr. and Nicholas Fross.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. Masonic funeral rights will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Tilton Lodge 291 officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1 until 3.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children.
