William Madison Barnwell

Mr. William Madison Barnwell, 51, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his Aunt Gloria Edwards.

Madison was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton and graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC with a Bachelors of Art Degree in Philosophy.

He is survived by his parents Dr. and Mrs. William Barnwell of Dalton, sister Lillian Stewart Barnwell and brother William Bartlett Barnwell both of Dalton, and uncle Dr. James Gantt of Birmingham, AL.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday from First Baptist Church of Dalton with Rev. Larry Flanagan and Rev. Jonathan Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the Church on Friday from Noon until the service at 2.
