William "Terry" Edwards

It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved friend William “Terry” Edwards on Monday, May 4, 2020.

Terry was born March 27, 1948. He was the beloved son of the late Howard and Elizabeth Edwards; brother of the late Roger Allen Edwards. His two nephews survive Terry: Matthew Robin Edwards and Christopher Mark Edwards.

Terry was born in Dalton, Georgia. He attended Dalton High School and was employed by Hamilton Medical Center for 46 years before retiring in 2013.

Terry walked by faith and loved his gospel music. His lovely and kind spirit will be missed. He holds a special place in all that knew him. Everyone that knew him knew that his love for the Atlanta Braves was a highlight of his life. The Beene family will miss his presence. He truly blessed our family. Terry had so many special friendships and was loved dearly.

To honor his life, a private Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 11 AM in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. George Ross officiating.
