Carolyn Mccoy Powell

Carolyn McCoy Powell, 77, of Dalton passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late B.B. and Lucille McCoy and was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Barbara McCoy.

Carolyn was a lifetime member of the Dalton community and never met a stranger. She was greatly loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon and Tim Britton; Son, Kip and Cathy Powell; longtime partner, Charles E. Lawton; grandchildren, Tyler and Clay Britton and Elizabeth and Sydney Powell; brother, Norman McCoy; niece, Meredith and Chris Finley.

A private memorial service will be held for family.
